How it Works
Daxia Plasma Donation Process:
Pre-Screening and Enrollment
Eligibility Assessment: Fill out a submission form or contact us to express your interest. You’ll undergo a short and simple pre-screening process that includes filling out a health questionnaire and providing medical history. You may need to confirm whether you have the condition or meet specific criteria.
Physical Exam and Blood Tests: To ensure you're a good fit for the study, you’ll
provide your most recent blood test results. These tests assess your general health status, and whether your body can safely participate in the trial.
Informed Consent: After confirming eligibility, you will be asked to sign an informed consent form, which explains the trial's purpose, procedures, risks, and compensation.

Plasma Donation Process
Donation Preparation: On the day of donation, you may be advised to hydrate well, eat a heavy meal prior to donation and avoid alcohol. Arrive at Daxia and check in.
Plasma Donation: The plasma donation itself typically involves a process called apheresis, where blood is drawn, plasma is separated and collected, and the remaining components (red blood cells, white blood cells, platelets) are returned to your body. This process can take about 1 hour. During this time, you'll be monitored for any adverse reactions.
Post-Donation Care: After the donation, you’ll be observed for a short period to ensure you’re feeling well and have no immediate adverse reactions. You may be given water and snacks to help you recover.
2
Receive Payment and Follow-up
Payment: Once you’ve completed the donation, compensation for your time and participation (if applicable) will be processed. The payment may be issued via methods like Zelle, Cash App, or Venmo, depending on what you chose during the screening process. You’ll typically receive the payment after the donation or within a few days, depending on the trial's payment policies.
Follow-up Appointments: Some trials require follow-up appointments to monitor your health after plasma donation, especially if the trial is testing a new drug or therapy. These visits may involve additional health assessments or tracking any side effects related to the study.

Always confirm the specific steps and timelines with the Daxia team, as clinical trial protocols can vary slightly depending on the study and location.
